Most renters are looking to buy and many times are caught in the escalating rent trap. To buy a home, it is best to have a plan. Money is always a consideration and having a plan is the best way to put it in the right perspective. No one should make you feel inadequate because you are renting vs owning a home. Time is a factor. Take a break and examine where you are, where you want to be and how you will proceed to get there. At times is to wise rent as you are getting your finances and credit together to buy in the future. Another reason to rent is that your job is moving you to varies places. It is good to talk with professionals to help you in those areas. In the long run it is wise to buy your own home and will be the best investment of your money for tax purposes, savings, and future nest egging.
